Short Video Syllabus for Permaculture 101

Combining the root meanings of permanence, agriculture and human culture itself, permaculture is essentially a design system for farms, homes and communities that weds ecological imperatives with the deepest common sense. Like many of the landscapes it nourishes, permaculture's theory and practice started out quite spare and simply, but soon grew immensely lush and dense. The following clips introduce its basic history, concepts and accomplishments as well as a whole new dimension in "intelligent design".
